Funny how rumor's start.
Dr. Mike Green marched color guard with the Cavalier's in the mid to late 80's yes but no, the show is not based off of him. Yes, Mike is an excellent ER doctor and a good friend of mine. He was interviewed on the news just after ER became a huge hit. The pro-mo's said "Meet the REAL Mark Green tonight on Channal 2 ZNews!". This added to the rumor but it is just a coincidence that the names a so close and he is an ER Dr.
