Hey everyone. It was requested to me by the wonderful Cavalier drum majors (and about 50 of the members) to post a message about the Cavalier Fanatic Fan Competition. My friend and I entered it in Enid, OK last night and we had a BLAST! We painted our bodies with green paint, and our hair. We also wore green and put green glitter on our lips. Needless to say, we got a lot of stares from the local folk, and a lot from some of the Scout guys. (hehe. well worth it) We won the competition (mainly because we were the only two who entered, intent apon winning. Plus, it's Enid, OK....small town...scared of girls painted green. No offence to any Enid folks.) We highly suggest to anyone whos a die-hard Cavalier fan to do what we did. Show your support for our boys. They deserve it. My friend said that it was so much cooler seeing us painted and dressed up than any standing ovation they've gotten. We won free shirts from the awesome suvie. vendors. (very cool people) so the next show you're at, SHOW YOUR SUPPORT BY PAINTING YOURSELF AND WEARING GREEN!!! (and for the ladies, if you're lookin to impress a certain Cavie, what better way to get his attention.) j/k. GO GREEN MACHINE!chass
