How do I explain the tears rolling down my face to my colleages here at work?
You have done it again and thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing that story with THIS FORUM.
Jones,Monk and Lenny made such an impact on me,I didn't realize it then,but your story brought back
memories of my CAVALIER years,only
two,but probably the most important
years in my life.I often wondered what would have happened had I not
been fortunate enough to have been
in THE CAVALIERS.
When I went into the Air Force in March of 65 my first day was the day the Marines came ashore in Viet Nam
the only thing i regretted was not being able to march until I turned 21
later I regretted it even more, not because of the great times we had but the guys that I would never march with again.
Many of those are gone now but I will never forget them.
