Interesting Story:
I was a HUGE MF fan for many years, (still am but he is just getting too old to play the way he use too)and saw many of his concerts at Rolling Meadows (Ill.) High School.
I have worked for many years in downtown Chicago. A long time ago I walked out the front door of the bank where I work and heard echoing through the streets of the financial district this high screech of a trumpet. I knew right then and there that it was Maynard. He has that distinctive sound. Turns out he was giving a free concert in the First Chicago (now BankOne) Plaza. This was about 15 years ago and he sounded GREAT!!!!
