Hello everyone,

Let's have some fun. You know that DCI will be heading to Orlando, FL this summer, and next year will be in Denver. Many times people have interesting suggestions for DCI without really having any knowledge as to what is involved in getting a city, stadium, school district, university, city government, etc....to give you the ok and all the negotiations. I'm sure some people think DCI can just go to a stadium website and look for the box to check for "Stadium Usage - check here"....

not that easy...

HOWEVER, let's have some fun. If you ruled the world and could SAY where the DCI Championships would be held, where would you have it and why?

SELL US ON YOUR IDEA....

be specific, let us know about the stadium, parking, schools, reasons people would want to go there (what else is there to do? Is it a municipal stadium or a University? Airport(s), car rental(s), hotels, restaurants, what is the atmosphere and what are the "natives" like?

Give us a location and maybe a year (special city or University anniversary?)....and go up to the subject header and make it DCI Championships: "Your City" (so you need to delete "Location, Location, Location" and fill it in yourself...sorry, I write as though I'm teaching third graders)...ALSO, if you have a comment about someone's selection, make sure you click and put it under their post....please don't make it the very next post...let that be the next city....

This "survey" might result in a POLL later on...OH, BEFORE I FORGET....think a little out of the box.....can't use:

Madison, WI

Buffalo, NY

Orlando, FL

Denver, CO...

and don't forget...it's Drum Corps INTERNATIONAL...how could THAT work?

Have fun, be open-minded....

jeff
