If it weren't for Joe Shuker in 2001, I would have ran int a judge. During the snare break that year, the rifle line had to get behind the snare line by putting the rifle under their legs then stepping behind them. Being the snare feature, there were a few shows where the drum judge would park himself in front of the snare line, usually center snare, being Joe. There were a few shows where I would be charging to go by Joe and he'd have to yell out "bail" before I ran him over. Good times...
