Alright, everybody... We’re a few weeks into the drum corps season now, and it’s time to post the 2003 DCI Finals score projections. I know that everybody’s getting excited and talking about the Cavaliers accomplishing similar feats to those of last year. For those of you who have your hopes up, I must point to the projections for August 9th based on current rate of improvement on a day-to-day basis:1) The Cadets 154.35
2) Blue Devils 134.25
3) Santa Clara Vanguard 123.15
4) The Cavaliers 109.05
That’s right, folks. The numbers don’t lie. Especially not at this time of the season, because June DCI scores are stable and reliable, right?
Also, you’ll be happy to know (if you’re a Cardinals fan) that on that very same day, Bo Hart will get hits number 133, 134, and 135 in just his 45th game in the big leagues. At this rate, he should get his 3,000th hit by the end of his seventh year in the majors.
Like I said, folks, the numbers don’t lie…
