Directions to Michigan City Saturday:
From the Chicago area: Take I-294 South to I-94 East to Exit 34B US 421 North. US 421 becomes Franklin St. Stay on Franklin St. to Ames Field on the left just past the railroad tracks. Construction between Chesterton and Michigan City is a nightmare. You can exit I-94 near Chesterton at Highway 49 North, Indiana Dunes. Take Highway 49 north to US 20 East. Take US 20 east to US 421. Turn left and follow to Ames Field.Also, you can take the Skyway to Indiana Tollroad I-90 East. Tollroad becomes I-80/90 Continue on I-80/90 east to Exit 39, US 421 North, Michigan City. After exiting the tollroad, turn left and go 5 miles into Michigan City. Continue on US 421 (Franklin St.) to Ames Field.
From Ohio: Indiana Tollroad West to I-80/90 to Exit 39, US 421 North Michigan City. After exiting the tollroad, turn left on US 421 and continue on to Ames Field.
From Michigan: I-94 west to Exit 34B, US 421 North, Michigan City. Continue on US 421 (Franklin St.) to Ames Field.
Please allow plenty of time to arrive. There is good parking around the stadium. Another large crowd will be in attendance, please arrive early. Gates open at 5:30 pm.
