I definitely have loved the fact when you hear any of the cavaliers recent music you know without a doubt who it is and who wrote it, that's a definite plus. I'd say listen to as much as possible (like you aren't already doing so) and get the feel of what direction you want to go in and if original's still the thing to do, then by all means go for it. I know I wouldn't object. It's refreshing to hear something you've never heard before.
