To each Cavalier who passed by the serving window on the food truck this year...I will never forget the time I spent on tour with you. Throughout the summer you were always grateful, polite and true gentlemen in every sense of the word. I watched you day after day in the heat and the long hours and wondered to myself how you kept on going. People who only "think" drum corps is hard probably have no idea until you actually see it behind the scenes or march it yourself. The show we see on the field with full uniform is just a few minutes. The countless hours it takes to get to that point are immeasurable. I know that as parents, volunteers and fans, we are all very proud of your accomplishments this year. When you exited the stadium for the last time in Foxborough and I saw you huddled together in a group singing the song that says, "for we are the Cavaliers," I knew that it was all good with you. I am very proud to have been a small part of it all. Please know it was a pleasure to have met each of you.

Take care,
