First off what a wonderful story. Second for anyone who remembers my son, FMM Matt Smith, in the first year with his corps jacket I don't think anyone saw him without it. In Michigan City Don H. brought me a replacement I requested (new size, old one worn through) for my son. When I came home from tour I surprised him with it. As soon as he put it on he also sat straighter and started walking that, "cavalier walk". You know what I mean. Once a Cavalier, always a Cavalier.
