Hello Brothers!Just thought you'd all be so proud to know that I'll be competing in Indy for a spot on the US Paralympic Track and Field Team that will go to the 2012 Paralympic Games in London! It's been such a long road to recovery, but my hard work is definitely paying off!
I'll be running in the 100m and 200m sprint, and also long jump. Competition is very stiff, so it should account for a great show!
The Paralympic Trials in Indy are to be held from June 29-July 1 at Purdue University. My flight arrives in Indy at 10:50am on 6/27. I'll train for a couple days, then compete, then wait a couple days for scores to tally, and return to Oklahoma City on 7/3. If there are any of you in the area, come out and show your support! Or pick me up from the airport and hang out!!! (not a joke ;-))
If anyone will be available for lunch on Wednesday, I'll buy if you drop me off at Purdue! Ha
Otherwise, I should have some free time on Sunday and Monday afternoon and evenings. Thanks!
