Cavaliers Look for Fan Content

The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps is on the lookout for fan content! From photos and reaction videos, to show reviews and stories, we want to highlight YOUR content this summer! Submit your fan content via The Cavaliers' Tumblr using http://thecavaliers.tumblr.com/submit - It couldn't be easier!

Here is our first fan content submission from Mayfair High School's Vincent Gil:

This picture came about July 1st in the afternoon. My name is Vincent Gil (16, tuba) and I had seen part of The Cavaliers show via internet. I was just amazed by the whole corps, but especially on how the tubas assisted the tenors in doing that crazy visual, so I was able to convince a few guys to give it a try.

Alexis Banuelos (15, tuba) is holding the tenor drum on the right side of the picture in the white shirt. Tobias Void (13, tuba) is holding the tenor drum on the left side of the picture. Raymundo Jimenez (15, tenors) is the one upside down and playing the tenors. Kristian Trujillo (16, tuba) is the one holding Raymundo Jimenez. We are all members of the Mayfair High School Monsoon Marching Corps in Lakewood, Calif. Renee Lim (17, trumpet) took the photo.

Thank you so much for your interest in our picture - it really means a lot to us. As a leader, I always use The Cavaliers as an example of what we can aspire to be like in our own program. I’m looking forward to seeing you guys in the theaters!
