Cavaliers Fan of the Week: Breeanna Menendez

Every Friday, The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps will be featuring a Fan of the Week for our new Fan Fridays effort! Young, old, far and wide - our incredible fans are at the center why we do what we do! This week, let's meet Breeanna Menendez!
1. Please state your name, age and hometown (and Twitter handle, if you have one).
Breeanna Menendez, 26, and my home town is the lovely city of St Louis, Missouri. Twitter handle is @marchingduck
2. How long have you been a Fan of The Cavaliers?
I've always liked and appreciated The Cavaliers for their strong traditions and musical ability, but last year thanks to being completely blown away by the show and the wonderful and warm staff of The Cavaliers, I can safely say you guys have become my favorite corps. Even fans get to feel like a part of their Cavalier family, which I love.
3. What is your favorite Cavalier program and why?
Actually, my favorite thing The Cavaliers do, and have always done, is the playing of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. When I was a little girl my grandmother, who raised me, was in love with the Wizard of Oz and would sing that song to me. When the guys play that piece, it's so beautiful that it brings me back to a happy memory.
4. Are you making it to a drum corps show this summer? If so, which one(s)?
DCI St. Louis on Monday, July 18
Random tidbit: I am a former member of the famous Lindbergh High School Spirit of St. Louis Marching Band and a former member of the University of Missouri-Rolla Miner Marching Band, which I am still involved with as a volunteer. I am also a trained Pastry Chef. :D
