Cavaliers Caption Leadership Continues in 2012

The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps is pleased to announce the instructional staff leadership in 2012 features the return of each caption lead from last season. "It's no secret that quality and consistency are some of the keys to success in any organization," said Executive Vice-President Dave Flynn. "We trust this experienced team of educators to not only lead and inspire their caption's instructional staff and performers, but also to motivate the entire organization."

The music staff sees Dr. Brian Tinkel return for his third year as Percussion Caption Head, leading the 2011 Fred Sanford Best Percussion Performance award-winning ensemble. Also returning for his third year as Brass Caption Head is Scott-Lee Atchison, who will be joined by newly appointed Assistant Brass Caption Head Stuart Shulman. The visual teams are led by Sheldon Apo and Steven Estudillo, who both return for their second year as Color Guard Caption Head and Visual Caption Head, respectively.

As The Cavaliers continue to find their 2012 cast of members (2012 Information Here), Corps Director Adolph DeGrauwe expressed his confidence in this returning leadership team. "The continuity gives us an excellent foundation for moving the organization forward," said DeGrauwe. "Now, we're all excited to get this season underway!"
