2012 Pre-Finals Party

The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps welcomes friends, fans, family and alumni to the annual Pre-Finals Party held at Tavern on South in Indianapolis! This not-to-be-missed event, presented by the Cavalier Alumni Association, will be a perfect opportunity to celebrate the Green Machine just before the Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championship Finals at Lucas Oil Stadium. This is a family-friendly location, so the under-21 crowd more than welcome to join in on the festivities!

The event will honor the 20th anniversary of the 1992 corps' very first DCI World Championship and the 10th anniversary of the 2002 corps' undefeated season. We look for a strong showing from the alumni representing those great corps!

"We're glad to bring the Pre-Finals Party back to Tavern on South, which is located directly across from Lucas Oil Stadium," said Cavalier Alumni Association President Chris Hartowicz. Tavern on South features on-site parking, with additional parking available at Circle City Garage located between Tavern On South and Comfort Suites Hotel. "This is the perfect event to kickoff an incredible evening of drum corps - Be sure to bring the family!"

Tickets will be $20 per person in advance via The Cavaliers Ticket Store (deadline August 1) or $25 at the door. This includes snacks, a burger & chicken buffet, unlimited soft drinks, and one (1) drink ticket for draft beer or house wine. Cavalier performances will be shown on monitors, along with door prizes and other surprises! Servers will be on hand for additional food/drink orders & bars will be open.

Founded in 1948, The Cavaliers are one of the most successful drum and bugle corps in history, winning 20 national championships, including seven Drum Corps International world championships since 1992. Each summer, 150 male brass, percussion and color guard performers aged 16-22 present a marching music show considered among the most challenging and original in the world.

The group performs at more than 30 competitions across the US and for more than 100,000 fans. Along the way, the young men not only learn about music and performing, but have a life-changing experience based on excellence, teamwork and camaraderie.
