Every Friday, The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps will be featuring a Fan of the Week for our Fan Fridays effort! Young, old, far and wide - our incredible fans are at the center why we do what we do! This week, let's meet Ashlee Mancuso!
1. Please state your name, age and hometown (and Twitter handle, if you have one).
Ashlee Mancuso, 18, New Orleans, Louisiana
Facebook musician page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ashlee-Mancuso/110200995706339
2. How long have you been a Fan of The Cavaliers?
I have been a fan of The Cavaliers since 2007, when I was first introduced to drum corps.
3. What is your favorite Cavalier program and why?
My favorite Cavalier program is the 2006 show, 'Machine.' It was the first drum corps show I had ever seen, and it absolutely amazed me in every way. It was an incredible show; a concept that no drum corps had ever tried before. The show got me hooked, and I've been addicted ever since!
4. What music/show would you like to see The Cavaliers perform?
Every year The Cavaliers come up with new and innovative ways to amaze audiences everywhere. Last year, with the Xtraordinary show and upside down marchers. Two years ago with the Mad World, throwing the rifles all the way across the ensemble. The Cavaliers can make any music sound euphoric.
All I ask for future shows is to keep my jaw dropping with the crazy shows and keep giving fans everywhere great audio experiences. I would personally love to hear a Superhero medley (Marvel and DC comics movie themes such as The Avengers, Superman, The Dark Knight, Etc.).
5. Are you making it to a drum corps show this summer? If so, which one(s)?
I am going to the DCI Southwestern Championship in San Antonio and the DCI Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. I'll also be watching the Big, Loud, and Live 9 Prelims on the big screen.
6. What do The Cavaliers mean to you?
The Cavaliers express a sense of exciting and fresh new things for the face of drum corps. To me, I tune in every summer to enjoy the sexy sounds and players. It was my first experience, so I'm a fan through and through. Young or old I'll never stop listening to the awesomeness! When I'm older and unable to march, I'll become a volunteer for The Cavaliers so I can support in every way possible!
Ashlee - Thanks for letting us get to know you just a little better during Fan Fridays!

About The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps
Founded in 1948, The Cavaliers are one of the most successful drum and bugle corps in history, winning 20 national championships, including seven Drum Corps International world championships since 1992.
