By Dan Minkel
Every Friday, The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps will be featuring a Fan of the Week for our Fan Fridays effort! Young, old, far and wide - our incredible fans are at the center why we do what we do! This week, let's meet Laurinda Webb!
1. Please state your name, age and hometown (and Twitter handle, if you have one).
My name is Laurinda Webb. I am 15 years old and I hail from Liberty, IN. - @ReadingRefrain
2. How long have you been a Fan of The Cavaliers?
I've been a fan since my sixth grade year in 2008 - watching Drum corps videos in band. I've seen live shows since "Mad World" in Indianapolis and have come back to see my favorite corps since then!
3. What is your favorite Cavalier program and why?
I'd have to say that my favorite program is "XtraordinarY". It's the show that really opened my eyes to the talent and perseverance it takes to be a member of The Cavaliers. The music and drill was amazing and the show was the most beautiful piece of art put before my eyes.
4. What music/show would you like to see The Cavaliers perform?
I'd like to see another show like "Xtraordinary" because nobody knew what was coming and the show made us ride on the edge of our seats and beg for more.
5. Are you making it to a drum corps show this summer? If so, which one(s)?
Of course! I will be attending one of the days of finals week!
6. What do The Cavaliers mean to you?
The Cavaliers have been some of my greatest idols. They show me how hard work and flexibility can make one of the most beautiful works of art. They've taught me to reach to the sky and grasp my hopes and dreams.
I hope that someday, I can march on the same fields as they do, and even though I can't join my favorite corps, I'll always be cheering them on.
Laurinda - Thanks for letting us get to know you just a little better during Fan Fridays!

About The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps
Founded in 1948, The Cavaliers are one of the most successful drum and bugle corps in history, winning 20 national championships, including seven Drum Corps International world championships since 1992.
