The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps welcomes brass and percussion members, as well as returning and prospective members of the color guard, back to Chicago for our 2013 April Camp held the weekend of April 26-28, 2013.
For the first time since the fall GearWORKS: Cavaliers 2013 Clinic/Audition events in Chicago, Ill., Edmond, Okla., and Austin, Texas, all sections of the corps will gather at Rosemont Elementary School in Rosemont, Ill., for the final camp before moving in for the 65th anniversary season.
This camp will facilitate the brass and percussion sections in continuing their winter progress on visual and musical technique, as well as refining music content to the corps' 2013 production. The April Camp will also be the first time the corps ventures outside to dive into the process of learning drill, as well as working through a portion of the 2013 competitive drill.
