2008 is a very special year for The Cavaliers as we celebrate its sixtieth anniversary. At this junction of history Don Warren, our founder, will end his sixtieth year as president and become Chairman of the Board. We are grateful to Don for all he has done for the thousands of young men’s lives he has touched over the years.

Since its inception, CLUB 48 has raised a considerable sum of money and we hope to see this amount continue to grow. How does your contribution help The Cavaliers?

This year we are especially concerned with rising fuel prices and the impact it will have on us and the entire drum corps activity. Every year we try to upgrade our equipment – horns and percussion. This year we have dug deep into our pockets to have a state of the art kitchen built for us. Although the price tag for this kitchen is high, we plan to lease it in our off season through Kitchens To Go, a company that specializes in this business. The bottom line is that your contribution helps with our expenses so that we can keep the annual fee that we charge our members who so proudly wear the green, black and white in a reasonable range.
