Classic Cavaliers at Heartland Tattoo

The Classic Cavaliers will be making their third appearance at the Heartland International Tattoo on April 10, 2010.

The Heartland International Tattoo is an annual show with over 400 musicians, singers and entertainers including both military and civilian brass bands, drum corps, wind bands, bagpipe bands, drill teams, flag corps and an array of dancers. The show takes place at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates. The festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Hoffman Estates Tartan Parade which begins in the area of route 59 and Interstate 90.

The International Beer Festival will take place between 2 & 6 p.m. in the Sears Centre. and finally the Heartland International Tattoo will begin at 7:00 p.m. The Classic Cavaliers are scheduled to perform in the first act. Tickets can be ordered through Ticketmaster or can be purchased at the door.

The Classic Cavaliers is a fund raising performance ensemble, mainly consisting of alumni of The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps. It was established in 2006 to prepare for The Cavaliers 60th anniversary performance at DCI in 2008. The Classics have continued raise funds for The Cavaliers through stand-still performances and parades in the Chicago-land area.
