10-18-04 Crowne Plaza Grand Opening

Members of the horn line performed late this morning at the grand opening of the Chicago Crowne Plaza Hotel and Resort. According to Jeff Fiedler, the corps performed several marches and other tunes in between speeches by the corporate head of Crowne Plaza and Rosemont Mayor Donald E. Stevens. Afterward, The Cavaliers were invited to sample the buffet (salmon, shrimp, caviar among other hors devours) and to schmooze with the guests. As if their heads weren't big enough already!
