A native of Cincinnati, James marched Baritone in The Cavaliers for the 1999 and 2000 seasons. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Miami University in Oxford, OH and will earn a Masters of Music from Miami in 2010.
James is currently teaching music and band at Emerson Academy of Dayton, OH.
James has worked as a band director, drill writer, and arranger in Cincinnati, OH and San Antonio, TX. He was also a Visual Instructor with Spirit Drum & Bugle Corps during the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
James lives in Monroe, OH with his wife, Kristyn.
James is very excited to be returning to The Cavaliers for the 2010 season for his third year with the Visual Staff.
