Jordan Thomas is a former marching member of The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps from 2004 through 2006. He spent his first two summers as a member of the percussion section playing tenors and aged out serving as the Assistant Drum Major. In that time, The Cavaliers won their sixth and seventh Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championships.

Jordan grew up in the north Texas area and is a graduate of L.D. Bell High School. While in high school, he earned the honors of being a two time 5A All-State percussionist, performing at the Texas Music Educations Association Convention in San Antonio. Jordan had the privilege of being taught by former Cavalier members which sparked his interest in drum corps. His former teachers include John Pollard, Chris Scott, John Brennan, Jim Bailey, Bret Kuhn, and Jeff Fiedler.

After aging out, Jordan joined the Memphis Sound percussion staff in 2007, a former Division III drum corps. That year Memphis Sound won the Division III DCI World Championship as well as high percussion honors. Jordan also spent time on the percussion staff of the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps in 2009.

Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of North Texas and is currently being certified to teach high school math and physics in Texas.

2012 will be Jordan's first summer as a member of The Cavaliers visual staff.
