Alan Spaeth has been designing marching band and winter guard shows since 1988. He is known for creative, one-of-a-kind shows. Working with several groups at various competitive levels his work has been highly successful in the local, state and national competitive arena.

Alan has designed for such groups, including Lakeland HS 1989-1997 (WGI Scholastic A World Champions 1993, WGI Scholastic Open Silver Medalist 1997, BOA Regional Champions 1996, MCBA State Champions 1991, 1992, 1996); Reeths Puffer HS Marching Band 1994-1998 (MCBA State Champions 1995 and 1998, BOA Grand Nationals AA Champions 1999); Plymouth Canton Educational Park Marching Band 1994, 1996-2003, 2007-2010 (MCBA State Champions 1994, 1996-2003, 2007-2009, BOA Class AAA Champion and Grand National Champions 1999); Lincoln-Way East HS Marching Band 2004-2008 (State of Illinois Grand Champion 2007 and 2008); and Lincoln-Way North HS Marching Band 2007-Present (BOA Regional Finalist 2007-2010, BOA Regional Class Champion 2010, State of Illinois State Class Champion 2009 and 2010).

He is currently the visual designer for Flower Mound HS (TX) and Winston Churchill High School (TX).

Along with staying active with show design, Alan is currently the head of the Color Guard Division at McCormick’s Enterprises and in charge of design and production. While working at McCormick’s Alan has designed costumes for every level of the activity from Half Time Bands to the most competitive groups in the Country.
