Every year, many talented young men are unable to participate in the drum
corps experience with The Cavaliers as a result of their inability to meet
the financial obligations.
Drum and bugle corps has become an expensive proposition when considering
the cost of operating a rolling stock of five coach busses, two tractor
trailers (food and equipment) and a souvenir vehicle and trailer while on
the road. Add to that the cost of horn, percussion and color guard
equipment, the cost of feeding the equivalent of a voracious army and you
can see why we need help.
