The 2010 Cavaliers have been hard at work honing their talents to put together another spectacular show. Traveling in from all across the country, to the many hours of personal practice, all to build the next version of The Green Machine. Even with all their hard work and the work of the excellent staff and outstanding instructors we need your help!
I am the mother of two current marching members, and the Volunteer Coordinator for The Cavaliers. The Cavaliers have a proud tradition of support from family, alumni, and fans. Without this support, The Cavaliers would not be able to provide the life changing experience and education that has been apart of this corps for over 60 years. How can you help? Come be apart of the touring group for a day, a week, or whatever amount of time that you can donate. No special skills are needed other than your time and dedication to The Cavaliers. Please see below for volunteering opportunities.
Please look at your schedule and see where you can find the time to help the gentlemen reach their best. Consider coming on tour. Help us continue the support that has made The Cavaliers the championship organization it is. Please email me at volunteering@cavaliers.org. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Sue Flynn
Volunteer Coordinator

Driving
Do you have a Commercial Drivers License? Do you have a passenger endorsement? We're always looking for drivers for our "big rigs." Don't have a CDL, but are interested in driving? We do need drivers for smaller trucks and a van.
Kitchen
Can you slice, dice, dish out food, and clean up after meals? We feed the boys and staff 3 healthy meals a day, and snacks. No knowledge of cooking is necessary. You just need to be part of the team and dig in.
Uniform Care
Can you mend rips or tears; have basic sewing skills? The uniforms take a pounding and need repairs every now and then. Laundry is done during rehearsal days. Laundry is a perfect way to contribute if you can't tour and we're in your area on laundry day. The laundry days will be posted on the website (in the main forum) as we near the season.
Cavalier Promotions Inc. (T-shirts and souvenirs)
Do you like talking to people? Have you been told that when you're around the conversation is never lacking? Then this is for you! Selling souvenirs is a very important part of The Cavaliers. CPI (Cavalier Promotions, Inc.) provides a part of the financial support for the corps. CPI sets up before the show and stays up until after the show.
Medical Personnel
Are you in the medical field? Medical personnel are needed to ensure the physical well being of the members, staff, and volunteers.
Tour Assistants
Are you quick on your feet? Are you a self-starter? We need people that can come on tour and do all the small day-to-day items for the corps that no one else has time to accomplish.
