In 2001, The Cavaliers successfully defended their World Championship, and this time won it outright. This was The Cavaliers' fourth DCI World Championship.

With entirely original music by Dick Saucedo, Bret Kuhn and Erick Johnson, and Michael Gaines' amazing drill, Four Corners became the first all-original program to win a DCI World Championship.

The Mighty St. Joe's Alumni Corps performed a medley of Cavaliers tunes for the 2000 season, and here's a good recording of it. They also did a rendition of the Cavaliers classic "Bully".

The Cavaliers Medley is a combination of two Cavalier favorites, Somewhere Over the Rainbow and the Corps Song. The Corps Song is based on the tune of Semper Paratus (Always Ready), the anthem of the United States Coast Guard.
