Avery Melucci

Avery Melucci is a freelance musician based out of Clearwater, Florida.

As a quad drummer himself, Avery has had the opportunity to gain insight from some of the greatest quad minds seen in recent history. Being taught by the likes of Josh "Wolfman" King, Eric "Froman" Ridenour, Nick Beaudet, Jack Holway, and many other amazing teachers has given him a priceless education, diving deep into the art that is quad drumming. After marching tenors at both Crossmen (2013) and The Cavaliers (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017), Avery went on to teach drum corps at Sprit of Atlanta (2018, 2019) and at Music City (2023). Avery has also taught at various other programs in both the Scholastic and Independent Winter Guard International circuits at the A Class, Open Class, and World Class levels.

This is Avery's first year on staff at The Cavaliers. Here is what he had to say on the matter:

"Wow, I am extremely honored and thankful to be coming back home to the drum corps that I, and so many other great alumni and current members, passionately care about. This is an opportunity that I do not take lightly by any means. Being humbled by an opportunity is a complete understatement. I cannot wait to get on on the field and clean some beats!"
